I hope that if revolution comes to Iran, women can recover the rights they had in the 1970s before the Islamic revolution. They could vote, get an education, work in various professions, wear western fashions, etc.These rights were drastically curtailed.

What an asshole targeting democratic-run cities for increased ICE activity. Probably thinks people in those cities are more likely to interfere, giving him an opening to call in the national guard or the military. He’s probably right about more people trying to protect migrants in blue cities.

Not a surprise but hard to say where this will go & how it will end. I feel bombarded by bad shit every day but I’m trying to focus on the positives. There were 3 rulings against Trump today & hopefully another tomorrow in the LA court case. We will prevail. CU Saturday at the No Kings protests.

Surprising with this court, but I’ll take it. It’s hard enough to prove discrimination without adding what amounted to an insurmountable burden in most instances. I wish they’d do something to make it easier to prove age discrimination, which is pervasive in US corporations. Unlikely I know.

MAGAts are bent out of shape & calling for a boycott of Walmart over Christy Walton buying an ad supporting the No Kings demonstrations. She’s not a Walton by blood, however, but rather is the widow of one of the Walton heirs. And Walmart was quick to disavow any connection with her. TY Christy. 👏🏻 👏🏻
