As we were writing this paper the NSF ADVANCE program was "archived" (cancelled). A heavy moment for us mid-paper. The results are important - check it out: ADVANCE is one of the (if not the) longest running NSF programs, and, unusually for the NSF, is a collaboration among multiple directorates. 🧵
