Made a huge dish of conchiglione stuffed with spinach and ricotta (and three other cheeses) and baked in tomato sauce and bechamel. Husband made a tiramisu. What a day.

My favourite thing about the #BritishGP is all the Spanish and Italian boys wearing their big scarves and coats like they’re in the Arctic, not Northamptonshire on a late spring day.

Absolutely fuming at that result. A mugging. #CzechWorldSBK

I’m home from Italy and caught up with #MotoGP. Knew the result. Still cried. (More than once.)

The all time best ever Tiny Desk. ALL THE JOY. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-91v...

Your Pope name is: Last thing you are + number of letters in your first name — Extremely pleased that I happen to be in Italy for this one: Pope Mortadella VIII

I’m going to Bologna tomorrow and I’ve been joking that I’m going to eat bolognese* everyday but I’m not really joking. *Don’t worry, I’ll call it ragú when I get there.

My niece, aged 10, at the V&A: “It’s a good job we didn’t pay to get in here.” 😂

A lovely lady asked me for directions on my lunch break last week and we ended up discussing our favourite tree in the park. Mine is a toss up between the massive Lebanon cedar outside my office and this brilliant handkerchief tree which I noticed today is in full bloom! 😍 Also: ducklings.

I made this chicken, herb butter and orzo recipe for a spring Sunday dinner today and it was extremely good.

I am not going to respond to the ragebait article except to say that I would like a list of the restaurants where they force pasta on you 🍝 🍝 🍝 🍝 🍝

Just watched brief clips of Adolescence on Gogglebox and bawled so I will not be watching the full series thank you.

My birthday is during the Easter holidays this year so I was struggling to think of something to do that wouldn’t be full of kids. And then it hit me. I’ve booked a tour, dinner and a stay at a vineyard 🍷

Was sowing some seeds earlier and my husband walked past, singing “you’re such a smooth propagator” so now you can have that in your head whenever you hear that song too.

Today programme doing a feature on the 30th anniversary of the release of The Bends. Can’t hear any of the songs without being transported back to my school German exchange, earphones in on the coach, listening to the cassette over and over. Strange to feel young and be reminded that you’re not.

I’m back to sharing the books I’ve read if you’re at all interested. Here’s January. www.instagram.com/p/DGGnQfqtT3...

I really love Brie Larson and the way she is embracing Saturday Kitchen this morning is only adding to that.

Every time I leave a bit of tap water in a glass in the hotel room, I get back to find they’ve covered it like it’s my special water I was saving.

We went to a wine tasting in Madrid but the other six people were American students celebrating a 21st birthday. I’ll be honest, they were adorable. I gave them my snacks because they were clearly hammered and have many hours to go.

Pleased to report that this fruit in our hotel room IS REAL.

Night #5. Do you remember what sleep is like? I don’t!
