So, liberal parents who can ground their beliefs in religion (many do) can opt out of: - abstinence only education - Baby Olivia videos - reading Ayn Rand - any class that talks about Donald Trump or this Supreme Court This is going to be fun. (And by "fun" I mean "utter and complete nonsense").

The Suspension Clause: 1) Doesn't allow the President to unilaterally suspend habeas, especially when Congress is in session; 2) Applies only to cases of invasion or rebellion (this is quite clearly neither); and 3) *Even then,* applies only "when the public safety may require it." (It doesn't.)

These charges are so stupid. There was an ICE agent **in the elevator** with the defendant after he left the courtroom. But oh yeah, the state judge somehow obstructed ICE because she let the defendant leave the courtroom through a side entrance. The Trump DOJ is run by morons and thugs.

I am of the firm belief that law professors should not publish op eps on important legal issues until AFTER they’ve done the hard work required to produce a publishable article on a topic. The op ed is only getting published because the status of the prof is an implicit claim to expertise.
