Update from Ottawa: There’s trains here. I’m on the rail system tour. The system has both light rail and commuter / heavy rail. 20 million passengers per year. 35 km of existing track and 27 km under construction. 4 lines. Much to learn for the CRD as we contemplate a longterm rail system.

For CRD cyclists: We will need to hear from you if the CRD transportation service passes its AAP. It is *not* a foregone conclusion that the Board would adopt the bylaws to create the service. Same thing happened with the Foodlands Service. Directors get cold feet. @capitalbike.ca
