This is a wonky process but BIG news regarding the Republican budget bill: My staff successfully got multiple provisions removed from the bill. Two key wins: 1) Medicaid provider tax. Striking this means Republicans have to backtrack on hundreds of billions in Medicaid cuts.

Just finished Season 3 of REACHER, and more than anything else, it weirdly makes me want to see somebody take another shot at a DRESDEN FILES series, but in this format where they spend a whole season on a single book. I try not to drive in NYC because the traffic is so bad. Sometimes, that can’t be avoided; gotta pick up my wife from the hospital. But today, despite driving at rush hour, the traffic was utterly manageable. $9 is more than worth being able to drive through Midtown the once a year I can’t avoid it.
