Our other cat was showing his belly to me so I had to post this. #Caturday #KellerPost

Our cat loafing is just amazing and cute at the same time. #Caturday #KellerPost

TRUMP: "How could you blab about the Epstein stuff?" MUSK: "We. Were. On. A. BREEEEEEAK!"

Finished my brother’s birthday gift. (You should see the massive cacti collection he’s got going on!) #EmbroiderySky #cacti #DontBeAPrick

Still a beginner and learning. I’ll poll #EmbroiderySky: birds yay or nay?

A new shop selling second hand arts and crafts supplies opened last week in our neck of the woods so we gave them all our money and now have many projects that may or may not get done and happy hearts.

Highlights of today: 1) My little hometown hosted a robust Pride, and my family marched with my best friends 2) Ate a dang good burrito 3) Watched my son’s joy during his ninja class 4) A quiet night with pizza, books, and embroidery There were sad moments too. And that’s ok. We take them all.

The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff. - Carl Sagan, Cosmos

How could you not be impressed by a bird in your yard? This dude can fly anywhere and it came here to hang out with you

In times like these, I find joy in embroidery, meditation, and The Group Chat now in season two. Thank you @samsanders.bsky.social! #messy

OK, here’s a debate. Do you know the phrases “you got it for a song” or “a good long while”?

The fact that I didn’t immediately freak out and contact customer support when my Insight Timer streak reset after my morning meditation means it’s working. (I’m on day 180, not 1, but who’s counting?)

And it’s today?! Life is cool.

We have a couple crows who started hanging out by our house. Today I saw they were taking some dirt from a patch of our yard, so I sent kell out there with a handful of nuts and a nickel to put there. A couple minutes later, one came up on our porch, cawed at us a few times before flying away. 🧙‍♀️

Just a little happy cat. Day late for #Caturday but I can’t wait.

Sound on 😽🤍 #cat #purr

Tonight is the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride. May his memory remind us all to resist the tyranny forming in our government.

Et tu, WSJ?

One of the speakers at the DC Live Stream of the Hands Off 2025 Protest said to tell the person standing next to you the following, so I decided to tell it to my followers: “You are loved You are resilient And you are important”

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Cory Booker has just broken Strom Thurmond's record for longest Senate filibuster ever, which stood for 68 years. Thurmond set it objecting to the Civil Rights Act of 1957. Booker set it arguing against authoritarianism. May Strom's name be forgotten and his memory erased.

Breaking: Cory Booker has officially delivered the longest Senate floor speech in US history, surpassing Strom Thurmond’s filibuster against the Civil Rights Act.

Visited our local bulk refill, zero-waste shop, Restore Eco, in Middletown CT. I’m in love with this laundry detergent!!! And we found some gems in the free Swap Shop too. Amazing place! 🌱🌎

Saturday morning (29 Mar 25) in Maine, the sun rose with an unusual appearance, as if it had "horns of fire." This was because a partial solar eclipse was in progress, covering about 85% of the sun's disk at the time. This image was captured by Fabrizio Melandri of Monticello.

Free #rocks! According to geologists I know if you want to tell which rock is what, just lick it.

1. #ShitministrationShakeup could become a thing...federal buildings in lieu of car lots. 2. Doing the Electric Slide at an electric dealership while its namesake's stocks continue to slide down in the market. 10/10 creativity. 😎🔥

Hey guys remember the Hillary Clinton email server? Seems kinda, small today, doesn’t it?

Jeffrey Goldberg thinking he was being pranked and then realizing he was actually just in the war plans group chat is such a good microcosm of how it feels to be alive right now, everything seems fake until you realize it’s actually real and incredibly stupid

I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.

My father needed that money for caring for me when I was a teen. Those poor families. This is disgraceful and disgusting.

Chuck Schumer right now:

Found my old winner voicemail greeting from Karl Kassel so if you call me don’t expect me to answer. (Not that I did before, but I have more impetus than then.) #NPR #WaitWaitDontTellMe #nerdcred

“What is this activity called?” “Embroidery.” “Em…broy…bereee… where did it come from? Like what country?” Oh how his grandmother is proudly looking on. 💚

Hey #artsky, I’ve been super inspired to get into #embroidery because y’all keep posting awesome stuff. Any suggestions for some beginner kits to learn basics and make cool art? I want to #shopsmall and #shopblue! Thanks!

I think people are extremely on edge, and horrified by how quickly society has slipped into this banal techno-fascism, and scared about how far it will go, and that makes people brittle and impatient, and if I were a better person I would extend grace to people because of that, but, you know, I’m me

Well said!

As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.
