Zagnuts, #DiarrheaLies, M3GAN & the Boss -- a very weird June summed up in a big HOFFSTACK update you can't afford to miss (free link to all) -- hoffstack.substack.com/p/june-has-b...

Colorado has always been so special for Phish! Excited for Folsom Field this week. 📷’s are from 1988! The box truck we drove with our gear from Vermont to Colorado, Trey + Page loading gear in Telluride, and Paul Languedoc doing the same.

I wish I did not just watch the PROJECT HAIL MARY trailer. Gave away the ball game. Don't watch it!! In fact, don't watch any trailers, ever!!

Beyond all levels of Jersey. At Monmouth Battle reenactment, guy calls out “take a shotta me wit a connol’ n send it to my parole awficuh to prove I’m here!!”

Happy for Goose, making their MSG debut right now. Streaming on a bluetooth speaker, sounds great.

In the car with my wife explaining the plot of M3GAN 2.0 and she thinks I’m making it up.

The plane banking steeply, flames spewing from the engines, I fight the g forces to reach out and press play

Only now, 40 years later, have I discovered that Kate Bush's "The Big Sky" and Rush's "Territories" have tremendous similarities. The guitar part & the beat are basically the same. The were recorded at around the same time, so this is a Newton/Leibniz discovery.

Hoffman on SQUID GAME! Read it or else!!!! foreignpolicy.com/2025/06/27/s...

How often do you hear Peter Cushing's voice in your head declaring "enough of this!" Once a day? Once an hour? One a minute?

Sent my Dad (dedicated jazz & 'standards' enthusiast) a link to Springsteen's 'Sunday Love', from the 'inspired by Burt Bachrach' section of 'Tracks II'. His response. Hardcore.

Forty-two years of material chomped up by the internet in one morning

The only 'Tracks II' review that matters — Chris Jordan, dedicated Boss reporter (not kidding) for the Asbury Park Press. www.app.com/story/entert...

Listening to 'Tracks II' from a Columbia Records exec hoping to retire in the 1990s' POV.

I don't mean to brag, but Visa just told me I have an outstanding balance.

Looks like M3GAN 2.0 is projected to do soft box office. If you like movies like LIFEFORCE, see it. Don't wait til it pops up on streaming and everyone is like "wait, this is a blast." Hoffman is telling you now: it is a blast. F1 is good, too, but it is a normal movie. M3GAN 2.0 has something.

How many emails like this can you receive before you go completely insane?

The Asbury Park Press is treating the release of Springsteen's 'Tracks II' like the Apollo 11 moon landing. (As they should!!)

If Zohran Mamdami calls his intended social programs "Zograms" he will not just win the NYC election, but will become Emperor of Earth.

Rare politics statement from HOFFMAN: Reactionaries saying Zohran Mamdani's win represents a wave of Jew Hatred have it all wrong. (Jew Hatred has been around for thousands of years already!) Occam's Razor is at play: Zohran is a FOX! He's handsome and young and looks great in a suit! Come on!

What E.Z. is leaving out here is that she had her first taste of a Zagnut bar before the movie started ... and anyone who is 'down with the Zag' knows that is always a good time. #Zagnut

When David Letterman said farewell to NBC in 1993, he went out with a bang, thanks to a rousing performance of 'Glory Days' by the Boss himself.

M3GAN 2.0 is a great deal of fun. It may even be better than the first. It certainly is stupider! A lot stupider!! This is praise. You can read my review for more. ew.com/m3gan-2-revi...

You think Joni Mitchell has ever circled the block a hundred times looking for a spot and wished there was a parking lot?

Ever seen the Pacific geoduck? Also called the elephant clam, this gigantic mollusk can reach up to 6 ft (1.8 m) and live for more than a century! Its long “neck," called a siphon, has two openings—one for breathing / feeding & one for filtering out water. Photo: kathawk, CC BY-NC 4.0, iNaturalist

There are two options

Congrats to the winner of today's primary election!
