It's been 30 days since Trump's 90-day pause on tariffs >10% for not-China, and all we have to show for it is a lowered tax on British Aston Martins in exchange for lower taxes on a tiny amount of US beef/ethanol. At this rate, we're achieving ANYTHING substantial by July.

If Trump is serious about tariffs on movies, it's a very dangerous escalation. Tariffs have not traditionally been applied to services, and the United States is a massive net exporter of services. We would be extremely vulnerable to any service-based retaliation.

Do parents want their children working in factories? Doesn’t really ring true. My great grandfather (🇮🇹🇺🇸) worked in a mill. He didn’t want his kids to have to do that.
