She is an American citizen, the daughter of a U.S. Navy service member from Illinois, who was stationed in the Philippines during the Vietnam War. This is fascism, plain and simple.

Another Nazi unscheduled disassembly.

On this day in 1941, the battleship Bismarck was sunk by the Royal Navy. The day before, Swordfish torpedo planes hit her rudder and the Bismarck was unable to steer. British warships drew close & hit the vessel over 400 times before it sunk. Out of a crew of over 2,200 men, only 114 survived.

What is a nation supposed to do when its leader is publicly committing impeachable offenses on a daily basis and the impeachment process is utterly broken due to slightly more than half of the nation's Congress being members of a cult dedicated to destroying rule of law

Four months from today is pub day for A BITTER WIND, the 20th novel in the Billy Boyle series. To mark this milestone & to acknowledge my career as a librarian, I asked fellow librarians to provide blurbs.

GOP plans to increase the tax rate by 74% by 2031 for people earning $15,000 yearly.

There will be no Presidential library. Only the 747.

Racist insult to avoid the use of any title and address the Librarian of Congress by her first name - while firing her.

This isn’t a good idea even if the plane was being donated to the U.S. government. But Trump GETS TO KEEP THE PLANE??? It’s simply a cash payment to Trump in exchange for favors. Just wildly illegal.

DUI hire Hesgeth has got to go.

Things are getting much scarier much faster than I think people realize

Right on, brother!

Federal scientists will stop updating the NOAA list of billion-dollar weather disasters. The list, which had grown rapidly in recent years, reflected both worsening extreme weather and expanding development nationwide.

Yes! Freedom of speech for the win.

Not only are they ignoring climate change—they’re trying to cover up the cost. Shutting down NOAA’s disaster tracking so we can’t see the BILLIONS it’s costing us? This ain’t solving the crisis—it’s hiding it.
