Faster bus journeys are coming to SE London. The new ‘Bakerloop’ route launches this Autumn, linking Waterloo to Lewisham. It will mirror the proposed Bakerloo line extension & build on the Superloop’s success—boosting growth & helping build a greener, more connected city.

why not expand London's tramlink a bit

Cycling isn’t just good for your health – It’s good for the planet, our cities, and the economy. ✔️ Over 92,000 km of EuroVelo cycling routes across Europe ✔️ Nearly 10 million bicycles produced yearly in the EU ✔️ 1.35 million jobs supported by the EU cycling sector

Less excuses. More building. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXh6...

“[the] importance of using a cycle lane cannot be understated”, Even if you have to clip through parked cars. Absolute disgusting level of victim blaming.

In Brazil, a seniors' center was gifted mobility bikes for its residents. Now they’re cruising, smiling, and feeling young again. Kindness always wins. 🚵‍♀️💙

I can't recommend @simonoxfphys.com enough for anyone that even remotely cares about the environment www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW5b...

As the car-centric suburban experiment intensified, more and more parents became convinced that it was unsafe for their kids to walk or bike to school. So parents increasingly drove their kids, paradoxically adding even more traffic, making streets even less safe.

Imagine how fun it would be as a kid to be cycled around in one of these to school, instead of being crammed into the back of a car, barely being tall enough to look out the window.

More of these please and fewer Cyber Trucks

Strasbourg boasts over 600 kilometres of cycling routes—the largest network in France—and is widely regarded as one of Europe’s best cycling cities. But what is less known is how a study visit to the Netherlands provided the spark needed to light a fire underneath its politicians and policy-makers.🧵

Bike lanes in the UK suck, but they don't have to. One of the best cycle lanes I've seen was in South London, it was separated by road traffic by a hedge row and together with the pedestrian pavement. This should be the standard.
