It is bracing to reread the Framers’ bone-deep fears about foreign corruption of the presidency and realize Trump is exactly what they were trying to prevent. slate.com/news-and-pol...

This is highly concerning to me. Model railroading is a pretty big part of my life, and I really do fear that I could lose that if something isn't done. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH_e...

Let’s be clear. When the President defies the Supreme Court, it is the role of Congress to remove him from office. Full stop.

Definitely was not expecting a string quartet version of Radiohead’s Creep playing in the background at the vet’s office.

To everyone who told me to “calm down” in 2016 - The sociopathic sexual predator business fraud felon you put back in the office he tried to steal just stood in the White House & said that he wants to send American citizens to concentration camps in El Salvador. So, fuck you.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Day four of I can't hear myself think, because the jerk that owns the wooded lot at the end of my street decided it needs to be clear cut. No idea what he plans on doing with it, because it's practically a sheer cliff. Not like you could build something on it.

Isn’t the point of digital signage at fast food restaurants so that they can be updated immediately? Why am I being shown a gigantic ad for a menu item that I WANT TO ORDER if the restaurant no longer offers it?

The FAA is close to canceling a $2.4 billion contract with Verizon to overhaul the communications system that serves as the backbone of the nation’s air traffic control and is awarding the work to Musk’s Starlink. Follow the money and see where it goes.

Every time my navigation app asks me to verify the location of a speed trap I’m torn between my disdain for bad cops profiling certain drivers and my disdain for unsafe drivers who would escape capture by said speed traps with the advance knowledge of their locations.

One of our supporters shared this with us—people are getting creative tonight!

Me, to myself, yesterday: Hmmm, I haven't charged my mouse in a while, I wonder if I should plug it in overnight. Nah, it's probably fine. Computer, today: Mouse battery low.

I think my favorite aspect of working from home is the ability to put on some classical music that matches my mood on the audio equipment I probably spent too much money on, and crank the volume up well past what would be remotely considered acceptable if anyone else was around.
