Musk will manipulate Twitter to help the Conservatives win the next election. He is no friend of truth or democracy. We need independent media – outlets that hedge funds and billionaires can’t control. We need the #CBC.

Trump & MAGA are going after media in the United States. That’s incredibly dangerous. In Canada, Pierre Poilievre is going after CBC, threatening to defund it. That should be a big red flag for Canadians. CBC isn’t perfect, but it’s light-years better than most North American media (example below).
