We’re the DCCC — the organization solely dedicated to electing Democrats and flipping the House in 2026. This is our new Bluesky account. Can you help us out by liking this post, following our account, and sharing?

This 3-post thread is based on a series of AOC Instagram stories she posted tonight, explaining the importance and value of calling your House Representative and Senators, EVEN/ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE REPUBLICANS. Please watch and share.

Furious that the Senate confirmed a man whose wife was so scared of him she hid in a closet and had a safe word to call for help? Show you believe survivors by supporting an org like Safe+Sound Somerset, who provided services to over 6,400 survivors last year weblink.donorperfect.com/Joelle

We should have let the Founding Mothers frame our constitution…they would have accounted for the impending threat of toxic white rich men buying everyone.

It’s not that an individual is bad because they’re a billionaire. In a capitalist system, becoming a billionaire happens through a transfer of wealth, generally from and through the exploitation of people who are poor and the working class. The process to become and stay a billionaire is immoral.

A lot of people think everything will work out if we just play by the rules but don’t seem to recognize that rules only matter when everyone agrees to follow them and, well, that isn’t our present reality.

Crockett: I can't say why my colleagues are acting the way that they are. I can say that the American people are tired of us bringing a butter knife to a real fight

A key asymmetry of this era of American politics and how it’s covered is that Trump is expected to do bad and corrupt things, so when he does it barely qualifies as news. But Dems are expected to be beyond reproach, so anything that seems even slightly suspect is a huge scandal.

I suspect that some annoyed pundits are insistent in claiming Bluesky is a progressive bubble not because, as they believe, it’s hyper-partisan, but because for them, subconsciously, the remarkably civil tone of the platform feels coded as progressive. And that says quite a lot about their outlook.

Every transphobic argument can basically be boiled down to: "I actually don't know the science at all or have a good argument here, but trans people challenge my long-held view of the world and it's very uncomfortable and everyone should be expected to move around my discomfort."

My favorite thing about bluesky is we can disagree about stuff like Garland, but no one is a huge asshole about it. Everyone is super-nice and people make genuine points and ask legit questions. Thanks for that!!

This needs to be said, loud, and often.

Check out this paper I wrote about a new, intuitive framework to talk about non-violence and personal freedom! publuu.com/flip-book/46...

Wow. This video is truly eye-opening. Take a couple minutes to watch this. A mind-boggling visual representation of wealth inequality in America. This sh*t ain’t workin’, folks. #TaxBillionaires #UnionsForAll

1. The difference so far (and for god's sake let's keep it that way) between X and Bluesky is not between right and left but between abuse and respect. A good society is built on mutual respect. But what does this mean? A short thread.🧵
