While Tory MPs chase fare dodgers around for a few quid, billions in wasteful PPE spending is being uncovered. Perhaps if Robert Jenrick wants to catch who's really robbing the country blind, he should look within.

He refuses to call it genocide — because even acknowledging the risk would trigger legal duties and raise serious questions about complicity and criminal liability. Instead we get mealy-mouthed theatrics from this PM. It is a genocide and the UK is actively facilitating it.

After due consideration, having weighed up the relevant evidence, assessed the balance of arguments and gamed the likely implications, I have reached the conclusion that Keir Starmer can fuck off from a great height.

It has become evident that Starmer's Labour doesn't care if it hands the next election to Reform, as they will simply continue the policies of both the Tories & Labour to their logical conclusion. Whatever happens, fascism wins. Every decent person in England & Wales vote Green or LibDem please.

Eighty years ago, enemies laid down their arms. Since then, we, Europeans, have built something extraordinary: a Union of peace, democracy, and solidarity. An anchor of stability. Our Union was born as a peace project, and it remains one today.

How it is.

Trans rights are human rights, today and everyday.

Amen.

Each time he’s invited on TV or radio his ego is stroked. They allow him to get away with saying Brexit wasn’t implemented properly, he is never thoroughly challenged. Absolving him of the catastrophe that we’re all living.

I gotta say, “women are going to space” sounds a lot nicer than “the ultra rich are taking hyper-polluting joyrides to space while the planet descends into climate chaos”

In Hitler's last will and testament, dictating hours before he committed suicide, 80 years ago in April 1945, he insisted that no one had wanted war in 1939. It had been forced on him by 'international Jewry and its helpers.'

How utterly totally depressing!

So they should. Labour came to office promising change, but have largely delivered more of the same austerity for the poorest and the disabled, and more of the hateful language too. No one who thought Starmer would be a sea change from the Tories should be voting for them again. #r4today

A very depressing article by @georgemonbiot.bsky.social - depressing because it’s true and the path we are on makes it likely that we will see Reform get closer and closer to power.

This would get my vote everyday of the week and twice on a Sunday!. Come on Ed, do it!. Watch how many people follow you!.

So very true. But governments in the lay of these corporations will Never fight back and things will get worse for us all.

Anyone up for a quick game of "Spot the Doormat"? www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c1...

Ursula von der Leyen, “We will approach these negotiations from a position of strength. Europe holds a lot of cards" “Our hallmark is not just that we are the biggest market in the world, but that we are reliable and predictable. We honour our commitment”

Reproductive health provider Planned Parenthood said on Monday the Trump administration would cut federal family planning funding as of Tuesday, affecting birth control, cancer screenings and other services for low-income people.

MPs to vote on disability benefit cuts without knowing ‘full impact’ Unless the government legally forces companies to employ long term sick & disabled people within their £1bn package to “help” them into the workplace then there will be no jobs waiting in the sunny uplands… Inhumane and cruel!

I remember when the likes of Farage would say that he wanted to end free movement of Europeans in part because it was terribly unfair on would be migrants from the rest of the world. Well, he got what he asked for. #r4today

Carelessly leaked messages between Trump’s inner circle show all too clearly who they regard as their country’s real opponents

Starmer is warned against ‘appeasing’ Trump with tax cut for US tech firms. Must not appease Trump. UK has not retaliated on steel tariffs, So Trump is back for more. Makes no sense to appease Trump while cutting disability benefits and public sector jobs. Act in unity with the EU.

So tax breaks for tech bosses and welfare cuts for the disabled

Keir Starmer to unveil drastic disability benefit cuts despite opposition The “moral and economic case” for reforming benefits says Downing Street. There is no “moral” case EVER for taking benefits away from those in society who need them most. Cruel & heartless - playing to the right wing media
