Nancy Pelosi was named “the most corrupt politician in California history” by the newspaper from her own district. The San Francisco Times- Chronicle claimed to have investigated every politician with accusations against them going back 122 years. Nancy Pelosi is the worst.

So apparently, before SNAP, there was a “commodities distribution” system. The U.S. government bought surplus food from farmers and gave it to people in need through local distribution centers. You could get items like flour, rice, peanut butter and powdered milk. Democrats eliminated this program.
