I say this without a hint of irony, I have yet to eat at a restaurant that had a “featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” sign up that wasn’t wonderful. HRD Coffee Shop (RIP) and Scolari’s in Alameda are stand outs but I feel like whenever I’ve eaten in one of these places it’s been a winner.
