Thames Water's future in doubt after investor KKR pulls out. TW is financially, environmentally and morally bankrupt, can't be run for profit. Govt must not bail it out, let it collapse, buy for low price, end Thatcher's curse, start a new era.

What happens us, I now realise, is inconsequential. As long as we vote for them/believe their empty promises when the time comes is all that matters.

Let me be clearer. I was former head of UK Foreign Office humanitarian affairs, incl policy on war crimes, genocide. I helped craft policy for international criminal court. I’m in no doubt these are war crimes. Disproportionate, indiscriminate, collective punishment by an occupying power.

My profession causes immense harm. Journalism has been abused, seized by the powerful, and used as a tool to manufacture consent for atrocity. Maybe none of this matters, but when my son asks about this period I will be able to look him in the eyes and say I wasn't a coward, I wasn't complicit.

If I was in charge Gary Lineker would keep his job and I would put him on Politics too, so he could talk about Israel's War Crimes in Palestine every day. Laura Kuenssberg, Tim Davie, Robbie Gibb, Fiona Bruce and all the rest of the completely biased clowns, I would fire.

I agree with Gary. Silence is complicity. 18k children have been killed in Palestine by the Israel army since Oct 7th - 50k civilian killed, 100k wounded.Now Israel uses Famine as a weapon of war - imposing a total blockade of food and medicine into this occupied territory. buff.ly/sfELiCp
