Curious BBC reporting of measles rise in Scotland. Saying measles can cause "hearing loss, sight loss and inflammation of the brain". What they mean is it can cause deafness, blindness and brain damage. Maybe it's just me but I listen out for word usage. Nuance is important and can provide insight.
