Some US companies saw record profits in ‘23 and ‘24. I’m not sure they’re onboard with bringing factories back to the US and losing that margin. If they raised prices to compensate for our high labor and regulatory costs, the average consumer couldn’t afford the products anyway. This won’t last.

No wonder the House went home. They knew the Democratic leadership in the Senate didn’t have a fight in them and would fold. They were right. Every one of these weak willed democrats need to resign or we need to get them primaried out at their next election before they give them even more.
