A little more on RFK's new vaccine committee: Malone - claimed vaccines cause AIDS Kulldorff - promoted mass COVID infection Meissner - opposed vaccines and masks for kids Pebsworth - worked at antivax nonprofit Levi - FL Surgeon General cited his paper when recommending not to get COVID vax

As a reminder, new ACIP member Dr. Cody Meissner advocated for herd immunity via mass infection of unvaccinated children.

The most disturbing thing I saw during the pandemic was the look on the face of the father of the pregnant 20-something year old who we shocked ≈20 times over 2.5 hours but couldn’t keep in a perfusing rhythm while that patient’s mother wailed. I have never seen a man so broken in my entire life.

Fauci was getting death threats at the time

Martin Kulldorff

RFK Jr’s ACIP pick, Martin Kulldorff, said one of the most disturbing images from the pandemic was a toddler crying about having to wear a mask. I see toddlers cry about everything all the time, and I found it far more disturbing to see refrigerator trucks full of body bags outside of the hospitals…

New #ACIP members have been announced. Interesting list. First thing that caught my eye is how is this being more transparent when he left out the key part? She now is staff at the NVIC. 🧵

. @doritreiss.bsky.social and I wrote about all this in 2018. direct.mit.edu/books/edited...

An entire lineage of influenza B viruses literally went extinct due to COVID mitigation measures and people will still say “masks don’t work”

Seeing people saying this guy is “reasonable.”🙄 April 2020.

He’s on the ACIP

He’s on the ACIP

Yes he did. August 2020

New ACIP member

Just saying

The Great Barrington Declaration was conceived, edited & marketed by a right-wing operative, Jeffrey Tucker, a neoconfederate (talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/jeffr...) who founded the right-wing Brownstone Institute. I get why Trump LOVED Tucker's GBD, but why did some 'leftists' adore Tucker/his GBD?

The most consistent think Prasad has done since assuming office is dunk on RCTs. Constantly.

At the start. Then the virus forced their hand. sciencebasedmedicine.org/yes-schools-...

Our medical establishment is repeating this phrase in unison. It’s not just groupthink, it’s an announcement that they can do whatever they want with whatever evidence they want. It’s just common sense! Why do you think Vinay Prasad has been dunking on RCTs every chance he gets?

As a reminder, Vinay Prasad spoke in vulgar hostile ways about his predecessors for not doing the studies he “told them” to do. Now all he does is give reasons why he won’t do RCTs. m.youtube.com/watch?v=_HZD...

Prasad has promised several times that new vaccine RCTs will be done by spring 2026. If they are not, I’m not blaming drug companies. I’m blaming him & our medical establishment. Is their job to deliver results for us. Let’s hold them accountable. 🧵 m.youtube.com/watch?v=1SII...

A chapter in the sequel to WWTI is about doctors who got famous entirely based on these entirely fantasied wonderful achievements and how they are flailing miserably to do basic things now that they have power. But he *would have* handled COVID flawlessly. 🙄 Sure thing buddy.

Seems all Prasad and Makary do is undermine RCTs.

I hope you all are up to date on your vaccines. I predict that, as soon as RFK Jr.’s new ACIP (packed with antivax cranks) is up and running, the CDC schedule will be shedding vaccines faster than antivaxxers think those vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccines shed spike protein.

"By repeatedly undermining RCTs- and that’s exactly what he is doing- he is creating a permission structure for the current medical establishment to do whatever they want. They can make drastic changes based on “common sense,” as Dr. Prasad recently put it."

Prasad is now undermining RCTs in JAMA. That’s all he does now. Full thing: jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

(Shameless self promotion alert). Let me just say, I chose the subtitle to my book very consciously. Now the doctors I tried to warn about seem poised to help Kennedy wage war on all vaccines. To understand how we got to this sad, dangerous moment👇

Durbin to Bhattacharya: "I can't understand it. I disagree w/ this admin on so many things. But this is the one that really gets to me personally. To think this nation would walk away from medical research. For God's sake...cancer, your budget requests a 38% cut to the National Cancer Institute"

This is essential to understanding Jay Bhattacharya. He has never gotten over the fact that he was rebuked by the mainstream of public health for his idea to mass infect the population with a novel, deadly pathogen for herd immunity—for the economy. But like, he’s an operative more than scientist.

Jay Bhattacharya lacks integrity, seems to have no moral compass at all, & is classless, clueless, out of his depth, a right wing ideologue, & a MAGA/MAHA bro. His censorship of, & political interference in, US science to push Trump's extreme right wing agenda are grotesque, damaging, & dangerous.

Since taking office, Vinay Prasad has undermined RCTs at every opportunity. While it’s fun to laugh at his rank hypocrisy, there’s a darker possibility to explain his anti-RCT statements. My latest. sciencebasedmedicine.org/stfu-prasad/

I hope someone clips videos of this.

This guy called me a “fucking prick” for disagreeing with this.

The only thing these people are good at is double-speak propaganda "Restoring trust in public health" is the most insulting thing I've heard all week and that's saying a lot

Sitting at that table would be a rock bottom moment for me. Whatever fancy title I had would mean nothing. I’d ponder deep and hard the life choices that led to me sitting next to Kennedy that way.

This was pure propaganda and we were too slow to call it out. It would have been bad manners.

Drs Adam Cifu and John Mandrola should be asked about the ethics of publishing these on their monetized substack. I’d be curious to hear how they answer.

During his testimony tomorrow this will be spun as a positive- that finally under his leadership, scientists can freely speak out against their boss. Previously they were afraid.
