can’t believe this still needs to be said, but: stop following altNPS. none of them work for the NPS and they exist to do Qanon numbers station crap and sell merch. it’s annoying for a lot of us that are actually NPS. thanks

It should not be lost on anyone that Minnesota Rep Melissa Hortman, who was shot to death in her home last night by an assassin, was a gun safety advocate who worked tirelessly to protect her constituents from gun violence.

Thousands showed up in the pouring rain in Montclair NJ, where Democratic gubernatorial nominee Mikie Sherrill spoke with Mayor Ras Baraka and Congresswoman LaMonica McIver.

Maybe they should have complied with local building and zoning code inspections….

Packed session on Emerging Trends in Downtown and Commercial Corridors at the NJ Planning and Redevelopment Conference

I finished a string light project and I’m still in awe in how much these little lights illuminate my backyard.

This weather makes me want a floppy slice of pizza on the boardwalk while blasting Bouncing Souls

This pretty much describes every urban neighborhood in America

In the movie Constatine, Heaven is a dense city and I think that's beautiful

With Ras Baraka now looking like he's going to come in a solid second, I wonder if all the Fulop voters who wanted him to drop out and endorse Fulop will admit Fulop should have dropped out and endorsed Ras. Or does it only work in one direction?

The nature of NJ politics is such that the messages I’m getting are less sadness that a favored candidate didn’t win, or happiness that they did, but glee at watching candidates they don’t like eat dirt.

Rewatching this and Large Marge is t the scariest thing in this movie

not the main issue here but i'd really appreciate it if democratic politicians spoke out in support of big-city life and culture with the same energy and reverence that all politicians have for small towns los angeles is "real america" and so are all the other big cities the president hates

The weird, often whitewashed way the civil rights movement is taught (or not taught) seemed to convince a lot of people that nonviolence was met with nonviolence, instead of you know, dogs, hoses, beatings, death, etc

Watching Pee Wes’s Big Adventures with my kids. Tried warning them about the Large Marge scene but the big kid screamed and the little one said “I never want to see this movie again”

I’m offended Rogan is wearing that shirt. I won’t be taking questions

Abolish Ice. It is the moderate option.

They’re gonna be tweeting at 2am east coast time so you’re good

"The popularity of the TV series “The Last of Us” or the highly anticipated arrival of a new entry in the “28 Days Later” series this month tells us that the zombie is not going to end anytime soon." Um, actually..... www.nytimes.com/2025/06/05/m...

Holding bullies accountable isn’t about revenge, it’s about making sure they don’t do it again.

Today I filed a federal lawsuit against Alina Habba and DHS Agent Ricky Patel for false arrest, malicious prosecution, and defamation. They abused their power to violently arrest me at Delaney Hall despite being invited inside. No one is above the law.

An unapologetic progressive, standing up for freedom: I’m @rasjbaraka.bsky.social , running for N.J. governor - nj.com

New Jersey, we need someone in the statehouse that represents all of us. Vote Ras Baraka by June 10th.

This is absolutely incredible. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIN7...
