Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Timely reminder that the treatment for chemical weapons like tear gas and pepper spray is: 1) remove from active contamination (get them out of the cloud of teargas, remove outer layers of clothing if possible) 2) flush eyes with ONLY clean water. Wash skin and hair with water and soap.
