#Pride is critical because we still have to deal with crap like this on the daily around the world. #LGBTQ+

Johnathan Joss was murdered, it was a hate crime, and police are doing nothing. On top of that it was on the 1st day of #Pride. This is why Pride matters. Even today we are marginalized, harmed, killed, imprisoned across the globe simply for our sexuality. Remember, you are loved and valued here

All eyes on the #Madleen. Because we absolutely know #Israel will pull something. #FreePalestine

For #Pride this year let’s be: Visible Heard Happy Ourselves Proud Safe Secure Vibrant Inclusive

That I am still here is my testimony. That I embrace myself unapologetically is my power. That I support my community is imperative. That our allies are known is beautiful. Happy Pride 🌈

Screw the haters. You are beautiful.

Happy #Pride in particular to my mother, whom finally started living her truth in the last few years. Also to my future step-mother that I will receive as a result of this.

I love all my social media feeds filling up with #Pride month content the last 24 hours. I wish this energy kept itself year round.

Remember #PrideIsProtest We fought to get where we are today, and the work isn’t done. Be safe, be strong, protect those of our community most vulnerable, and remember be proud of who you are - not just this month, but every single day.

Goodnight 🌙 Fuck Lindsey Graham

When people say “you can’t pour from an empty cup,” they don’t realize that some of us aren’t pouring anymore, we’re bleeding. And we’re doing it for a world that doesn’t even seem to care. That doesn’t mean the bleeding is meaningless. It means it’s sacred. #NeverGiveUp

#Trans history is #Pride history. Our siblings have always been part of our community, and have always trail-blazed for us. Even when we didn’t give them the appropriate respect, recognition, and love that they deserved. This post, and piece of our history is absolutely incredible! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Happy #PrideMonth Everyone! Wanted to share my #Pride #ReadingList for the month with everyone. 1. The Queer Bible - This is a re-read for me, it's a collection of essays written by Queer Icons about Queer Trailblazers that have defined #LGBTQ+ history.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF #PRIDE MY GORGEOUS EXTENDED RAINBOW FAMILY! #PrideIsProtest #LGBTQIA+ #LGBTQ+ #gay #lesbian #trans Reminder Allies: if someone comes out to you as Trans, you do NOT respond as John Cleese’s character did in the Life of Brian (see the clip)

Does anyone else keep library check out receipts as trophies? #booksky

I enjoy reading the Bible, just to reflect on how un-Christ like most American "Christians" are. They frequently contradict the teachings of Christ and the lessons of the bible. Example: Deuteronomy 10:17-19 speaks on welcoming, loving, and caring for the stranger. #AmericanChristianContradictions

We will not win the battle for democracy if those in the pro-democracy movement prize caution over taking risks. We cannot permit ourselves to be deterred by the defeats and public criticism that are inevitable along the long path of restoring democracy. Now is the time for fearless leadership.

This is disgusting, not because it’s religious, but because it doesn’t belong in schools. 1. We are not a religious society 2. This tells students of other cultures and faith that they aren’t as valuable or as wanted. 3. The people passing this law likely fail to follow a single commandment.

For those of you who knew Victoria Brownworth on Twitter, she passed away from cancer yesterday. She was a fearless journalist who reported on AIDS in the 80s (when Reagan was ignoring it), lifted up the LGBTQ community, & rooted out corruption. Her wife, Maddy Gold, died of cancer in 2022.

Medicare for All isn't radical. What's radical is that we are the only major country not to guarantee health care as a human right. Don’t believe me? Listen to what these nurses have say:

Harvard is offering 558 free classes, including but not limited to "We the People: Civic Engagement in a Constitutional Democracy", "American Government: Constitutional Foundations", and "U.S. Political Institutions: Congress, Presidency, Courts, and Bureaucracy." Thank you Harvard!! 👏👏👏

Went back and picked up the last copy of “Pride and Prejudice In Space” by Alexis Lampley today. Alas, as we’re about to go into June and I’ll be focusing on 🏳️‍🌈 oriented reading for the month, this book will sit untouched until July. The book is full of beautiful illustrations. #booksky
