Got a great review of my latest book!

Just rolled over 60K in the new novel. 2/3 done. Huzzah!

Ahh, the seeds of new "love" smeared into my dystopian nightmare, SHUNT. A stomach filled with... butterflies? Not quite. Happy V-day everyone!

Awww yeah. That's my home town!

Having a genre fiction writer meetup if anybody's close enough to swing by. #bridgewater #novascotia #mahonebay #liverpool #lunenburg

Well shit. We just lost the biggest artistic inspiration of my life. One of the world’s deepest dreamers. The man who helped me define my weird self and molded me in so many way. I can’t understate the impact. Goodbye David. Thank you.

The word mines are cranky today. Two tangled turns and a dead canary levels of cranky. Time to break out the dynamite.

My latest horror novel is somewhat about food phobias. Smell is closely associated, so I’ve been looking into what smells are people’s favorites. I found this more than once. There’s one on here that I’m reaaaaally not sure about. I mean, really? Universally loved? Hmm…

Head's up for fans of creepy stories in the Halifax/Dartmouth area of Nova Scotia. Tomorrow night! #halifax #dartmouth #horror #openmic #dartgallery

Smack dab in the middle of my dystopian horror novel, SHUNT, I've reached the halfway mark.

This year I wrote the back half of Patchworld Nova, all of The Mud Fisher's Catch, and the first half of SHUNT! Bye bye 2024! Hellooooo 2025!

I’m so close to my write-bernation! I’ve already got one foot into my cave!

I'll be selling my horror fiction at the Holiday Night Market in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia tonight!

That author feeling when your main character is speeding at 100mph, wind in their hair, having overcome everything, elated they’re about to win it all, and has no idea you’ve placed an invisible brick wall directly into their path and they’re about to become a road stain. I kinda like that feeling.

I always love writing on rainy days. #indieauthor #iamwriting

A man enters, fills out a name tag and slaps it on his chest. After getting coffee, he crosses the gym and sits down in the circle of chairs. "Hi everyone. My name is Jude. Yes, I too am a social media refugee." The group mutters an unenthusiastic hello. That, along with the cold coffee, is enough.
