Jos VM:n nyt julkilausuma sopeutustarve vuoden 2022 jälkeen olisi artikuloitu ko. syksyn VM:n talousnäkemyksen mukaan, olisi se tarkoittanut julkisten menojen (pl. suojellut kohteet) leikkaamista 12 %:lla ja verokertymän nostamista 16 %:lla nykytasosta tehtäessä sopeutus kokonaan jommalla kummalla.
