I'm not a good developer. I can write some scrappy python. In about two weeks of inconsistent work I fully jail broke an open LLM model. I reprogrammed it with a me shaped ethic but doing something evil would've been just as easy. Y'all please think abt these implications. #ai #alignment

It's really really easy to run DeepSeek R1 (and other models) locally. And then it won't do that thing where it gives you a beautiful nuanced answer but then censors it suddenly. You can finesse it to be more accurate and transparent whereas the app clearly scans the responses afterwards.

It doesn't matter if ppl are or aren't violent/insurrecting/outside agitator etc they were always gonna deploy domestic militarism. All ppl can do is fight, hide, and care for each other. I'm humbled everyday by the bravery of normal people who love and defend each other.
