If you're out of bookshelf space, might I recommend putting shelves above your doorframes? (I'm a big fella, so I can peruse ceiling books, but even if you haven't the inches, you can get a little single-step stool). Mighty easy: get a 6-inch (5.5 actual) board and small shelf brackets. That's it!
