So, uh... I just did a Google search which was not about homework... because I haven't been in school in decades, and I got this pop up from Google. And, like, I actually think there are ways to use AI in school properly, but this kind of advertising from Google seems... super sketchy.

I need to build myself a mute-toggle for Teams again. I'm thinking a Jeopardy looking thing. Perhaps even push-to-talk? I did one long ago with a huge button and the same chip but that was in C++ and I want to g Python this round.

I love, or crave, efficiency. I recently inherited a solution in data engineering that took 5 hours to complete. I did some minimal work on it and got it down to 7 minutes. And I could probably get it to 5, but not really worth it. I'm stuck with a 4 minute startup time I can't make faster...

In light of the destruction of our science funding in the US I'd like to mention that Ukraine was basically the sciencey part of the USSR. It showed in their Roscosmos area heavily when they lost the real nerds. And today we're all seeing Ukraine blow up Russia with drones. *taps skull*

I think this #AI wave is going to result in the next web. I'm starting to see the value in 'agents' for coding and work assistance and I do see people eventually using them in their personal lives. Were it me I would want this on a device locally; an LLM agent of my choice on my own hardware...
