Let's assume for the moment this is true. This can be attributed to 2 things. 1. A stronger adherence to core assumptions on the left such as the veracity of science. 2. (MUCH) more possibility space in the nation for the right to thrive and accumulate power.

My Representative!

Posting for no particular reason of course

No notes.

Trump arrives at the Les Miserables performance at the Kennedy Center, and the audience gives him the sort of welcome that I would expect from musical theater fans (or, for that matter, fans of the original Hugo novel).

The entire concept of Lee as this noble figure who detested slavery yet felt such a loyalty to his home state of Virginia that he had no other moral choice but to take the side of the Confederacy is utter hogwash, and that needs to be pointed out far more often than is currently the case.

Newsom is many things, a good number of which I dislike or even despise, but it's true that he is not a coward, and seems to be rising to meet the moment.

What she really means is that she doesn't see a difference.

I'd forgotten just how accurate the original Bad News Bears was as a portrayal of what childhood could be like in the 70s, and of the adults who were entrusted with our care.

Hello to Dallas from Los Angeles! We see you!

I have accidentally found out more than once that when a writer tells you that they can't tell you about what they're working on, the best way to get them to tell you anyway is to respond that you respect that boundary, and then remain silent. #BookSky

I've considered three cities home at various times in my life: San Diego, Glendale, and Los Angeles. By sheer coincidence, over the past week all three have given me reasons to be very proud of that association.

Wait till they learn about the St. Patrick's Day parade.

Hello. I live in Los Angeles. The President is lying #LosAngeles #ICEProtests

Same. I'm so proud of this city and its people.

One of the issues that the Marvel marketing team seems unable to overcome is that nobody gives a shit anymore.

Like being a Beverly Hills 90210 casting agent watching the boss's daughter auditioning while calling herself something like Spori Telling.

I don't know what happens next. I do know that I am terribly proud to be an Angeleno tonight.

Even aside from the morality, it's a terrible idea. He's one of the two richest men in the world, he has no executive function, and he has a grudge against Trump. You don't want to be in the splash zone of whatever comes next.

One would think that stripping people of their Constitutional rights and using the nation's premier law enforcement agency to target political rivals and enemies of the current President would be more fulfilling, but it seems to have some drawbacks.

Super-duper.
