i'd rather ask ursula from the little mermaid for a favour and life advice than ask chatgpt anything

My ESL tutee is...done? 🎉 She has worked very hard. The one thing I feel I can take credit for is getting her to pronounce "on" like a Buffalonian.

I feel like the more DIY inclined teachers I know would be into this. pontus.granstrom.me/scrappy/ #mathsky

Anyone out there using Snorkl? I know a middle school admin who claims students "love it" but I'm a bit dubious. Considering trying it out in the fall (in a math for elem ed majors course). snorkl.app

I know everyone knows polypad but honestly its number line creator is the best available. All the flexibility, easy UI, just works, does FRACTIONS, doesn't make you have STUPID ARROWS by default but you can turn them on if you insist, exports a sensible window and not your whole screen. Just mwah.

Educational research funded by the NSF is a threat to authoritarianism and plutocracy. Our work details how to shift schools away from being sites of social reproduction to places of care, social mobility, critical citizenship, and liberation.

I like to imagine CPB saying, "fuck you, make me" in an NPR voice.

My grad class tonight is going to diagnose what is wrong with some egregious examples from TpT using Nix the Tricks as a resource. It's going to be a banger.

Hi! In July I'm once again running a program for K-12 math teachers called "21st century mathematics". Its goal is to help teachers to connect math they teach with some math that has been discovered in the 21st century. Pass it along! Info+register: justinlanier.org/21st-century...

here’s a curse word free version of “look it up” as requested by countless teachers and librarians 🥰😘
