I did it! I completed my 2nd DIY mic build. It's basically the Sabrena mic on the JLI Electonics website, but I bought the parts individually through JLI & bought a super cheap mic body off Amazon. Assembled it over the past 3 days. Tested it tonight. So proud that 1) it works & 2) sounds great!

I built my very first microphone from (almost) scratch & after multiple rounds of troubleshooting involving no sound (cue some desoldering and re-soldering of wires) and then a ground hum 9cue more desoldering and re-soldering) it works! It stinking WORKS!! #DIY #audio #micmod #beginner #learning
