Raoul Wallenberg was a Swedish diplomat in Budapest, Hungary in WWII. Between July '44 & January '45, he saved 1000s of Hungarian Jews by issuing protective passports, or hiding them in buildings he'd declared Swedish territory. He was recognized as Righteous Among the Nations in 1963. #AltCitizen

I am really unhappy with the lack of coverage of the Hands Off protest in New Haven yesterday by WTNH a station three blocks away. WVIT at least had some coverage of Hartford and Middletown. There were an amazing amount of people in New Haven.
