@50501movement.bsky.social Feels like the 19th is a bad date because it's Easter weekend. I've seen others say they feel the same. Is it too soon too protest next weekend and keep the momentum going? Numbers may be lower on the 19th which could give the impression that support is weakening.

While I appreciate 50501 and other group's efforts, one day boycotts are futile. They have things planned over the next couple of months. That's too slow and too diffused. We need a concentrated week aimed at specific target companies, now! Not in March or April.

Correction on my previous post. It was a national story but it aired on KGW-NBC affiliate. Now our local Fox station is picking it up. Fire is a big deal here. Local stations can still focus on impact on their communities though.

People are tuning out national news and not understanding the implications of what is going on. . Encourage your local stations to cover this and be specific about effects on their communities. KGW had a great interview with a Forest Service fire manager talked about this.
