This is interesting (WARNING: to boring news site layout nerds ONLY) for 2 reasons: 1) it doesn’t look like that in mobile / app, which we’re (*newsrooms) told EVERYONE is looking at; 2) the FT homepage has a horizontal layout across the top & we find it limiting/frustrating in other ways.
