Reform UK have just taken control of 10 councils in England, winning 677 seats, with 65 of them being in Durham. Only 3 of those elected there, have any experience of working on a council. It's like the talentless dregs on Britain's Got Talent, have been put in charge of the Royal National Opera.

So pleased I reported the leak just for Yorkshire Water to close three roads on the village and do naff all about the leak! Happy Bank Holiday weekend.

And Europe gets to sit on our hands as Ukraine is torn up. Good work everybody. Glad we are feeling in charge. Sovereignty and all that... and after/because of all that a federal Europe will be a necessity. Short-sightedness in the extreme.

This is the USA's Brexit Referendum moment empowering half the nation and leaving the other half not recognising their own country.

We Europeans (including the UK) have no time to be depressed, to be angry, or to be scared. Too much time has been wasted over the past two years. No more burying one’s head in the sand, no more hoping for the best. Time to step up. For our security, for Ukraine, for our future.
