Lunch today was spare ribs from last night's chinese takeaway, some of the apple kimchi Pete made the day before yesterday, and some extremely sweet and juicy fresh pineapple. (The pineapple peeler corer slicer thing remains one of the best things I received free/ to review over the last 16 years!)

Israel must stop pretending that issuing warnings before an airstrike is an act of compassion or moral high ground. Notifying civilians of imminent destruction doesn’t absolve the IDF of the devastation that follows, nor does it turn targeted bombings into humanitarian gestures.
