Today is one of my nephew's 21st birthday. I wish he didn't have to celebrate this milestone birthday under the cloud of a Fascist regime. 😡

Yesterday was Father's Day. My dad has been gone for 10 years now. Still, I'd like to acknowledge his gifts to me. He instilled in all of his children an unshakeable work ethic. He showed me, a little girl, the inside of a car engine and how it functioned. Patience and generosity. I miss you Dad! 🥰

An older, white male, Evangelical once again demonstrates the Christian value of sanctity of life? He killed four people in MN with differing political views. Commandment #6: "Thou shalt not kill." May God have mercy on his soul. May the courts give him what he deserves here on Earth. 😔

I am 20 days from retirement. It's a bit disconcerting after working for 50 years. I wonder what my retired life will look like. I hope to continue to be of service to my community; maybe volunteer or find a part-time job I really love. I know my house will be a lot cleaner and my yard in order. 😊

I was in San Juan, PR recently. While walking old San Juan I was accosted by a salesman selling a $2600 beauty treatment to make me look 10 years younger. I guess a lot of rich people and Hollywood stars use it. I explained to him I am not that vain and I earned every wrinkle and sag in 67 years. 😂

I am so fed up with constant text messages, email messages and unwanted mail requests for this...that...and the other! When did we give up our right to privacy? Who allows anyone and everyone access to our private cell phone numbers? Why is is okay to blast out countless mailings asking for money? 😡
