This looks good

🎶🎵 Music people: a big shout out to @henselpushers.bsky.social who’s just completed a fantastic transcript of a multi-version manuscript score I sent her, & with such professionalism, expertise & care. If you’re looking for assistance with music projects I cannot recommend her highly enough 😀

OMG loving this thread. Had to take medical retirement from academe, so don’t get to hang out with academics any more. But here - here are my people

In the 1840s there was a radical socialist community in Ham Common, Surrey, which would only eat windfall fruit etc They would have loved this interesting piece on plant sentience: ‘Plants can hear’ ‘Plants can smell – they have more smell genes than animals’

My partner started a wildlife pond in our garden. Now we have swifts swooping & diving throughout the day 😊 I can see the pond - and the swifts - from the bedroom window, & can now manage to get out there every now and then. Life-changingly wonderful ♥️ Solidarity to everyone living with #longcovid
