My daughter had friends over to play in the front yard for the first time. Neighbor comes out "can't you kids play somewhere else!?" I simply said "they can play here." and left it at that. I wonder what happens next.

Pain mgmt. said that because I didn't make a new appointment right away, I must wait 3 months for a new prescription refill. If I'm caught with anything in my system they will kick me out. So extreme pain it is every day until then. Yay!

As a kid I once saw a late night monolog, Leno I think, he made a joke similar to this "let's hold a contest, the winner gets to punch (someone) in the face. The 2nd place winner gets to do the same, 2nd." it was for a politician. Been using that joke all my life when felt angry at a politician.

My SIL, Houston witnessed similar. A total of 5 vehicles arrive at her neighbor's. Some fed, some local police, some unmarked. Watched them raid the home, her elderly Nigerian neighbor hauled off in leg irons and chains. They smiled and waved at her which scared the shit out of her.
