I really, really need people to understand that they DID vote for this, no matter how much they insist they didn’t. Insisting they “didn’t vote for this” excuses them from voting for all the terrible bs they agreed with and erases the fact that BW, BM, and Jews had the same info & voted accordingly.

I have a friend who is an exvangelical and she put it very succinctly: “We don’t believe anyone else is human. You are not people to us.” Once you understand this CORE BELIEF and put it into context with the fact that these folks are running our country you can understand clearly their motivations.
