When I say Expedition 33 left an impact on me I mean it. Just been lying in bed for the last hour or so thinking about the themes and what the endings meant and just how the game as a whole comes together in an incredibly emotionally captivating story. Even now it’s making me cry.

Started playing the first Lunar game today. Enjoying it so far, didn’t expect the large amount of anime cutscenes though.! 😁 More cutscenes in the first 2 hours than most ps1 games have in their entire runtime. I dig it! ☺️

About halfway through Dark Cloud 1. Gonna be real guys this game blows major ass. Some good ideas but overshadowed by some absolute ass mechanics. Biggest red flag for a game in my eyes is weapon durability.

Gonna be real but the Free roam mode in Mario Kart World seems really bloody pointless. "Oh you can drive around the courses without restriction." okay, but why would I ever want to do that if there's nothing to fucking do in free roam mode.

I've been playing the new Assassins Creed lately. It's pretty good. Looks absolutely stunning on PS5 Pro. I don't know what it is about open worlds set in Japan but they're always so much fun to just run around and explore. Cant wait to dive in deeper after my work shift tomorrow!

Beat the Suikoden remasters. Highly recommend them. Both are absolutely incredible games and the remasters are a pretty decent way to play it! Really enjoyed my time with it!

Forgot to mention but last night I got the platinum trophy for Dynasty Warriors Origins. Really enjoyed it and the platinum itself wasn't too awful to complete. There were some annoying trophies but nothing that ruined my overall feelings for the game.

I watched the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man today. Holy fuck it was good. Each musical number was incredibly theatrical but at the same time really tense and thought provoking. Seeing a man self destruct and then try to pick the pieces up, compelling stuff.

What is it with every Aspyr developed Star Wars game remaster and having the absolute laziest ugliest menu's and UI? Just makes the remasters all feel cheap and lazy. I think Episode 1 Racer and Jedi Power Battles have the worst of the ones I've played.

I beat Ender Magnolia. Overall it was pretty great. The story, atmosphere and general vibe were nowhere close to Ender Lilies but that game was absurdly perfect so I dont judge them too harshly on it. Magnolia had much better gameplay though. Soundtrack was great as always. Gotta love a bit of Mili!
