Holy shit, since it's Jewish Heritage Month, Sloth asked me if I knew anything about the first Jewish settlers in Canada (Why would I know?) and that's how I learned that the first documented Jewish person to set foot in Canada was a girl named Esther Brandeau who disguised herself as a man in 1738!
