Uh… one? Maybe two? I’ve never been in a book club and although I can’t recall ruining a book in the bath, I probably have.

It’s still my birthday month, so why not do a giveaway of one of my books? 📚 🏴‍☠️ Rules: like this post and be following me for 1 entry. Share this post for another entry! Winner will be randomly selected and announced at 9:00 am (ET) on Friday, May 23rd!

Once again on the bus and realize I can remember the route numbers of the busses I rode in Chicago as a kid.

Every time I find a plausible apartment, it’s NO PETS. We have pets. One said Dogs Only! Cats have us. I’m willing to compromise on a lot, but not pets. Pets are people too, in our house. I’ll keep looking. Somewhere in Balto there’s a funky, cat-friendly place for us.

I have once again committed a bus blunder (but it’s been 4 years). I ran to get the bus to Towson Town Center. LOL it was NOT the 51, it was the Green. Whoops! We’re on North Ave.

Your Pope name is: Last thing you ate + number of letters in your first name. Pope Ramen VII Once again, I’m eating ramen.

To be honest, this came up in therapy today. Which team??? Says a lot about a person.

There are three red buses here at the medical center. One of them is supposed to leave now? One bus let us on…and stopped. The other two drivers were not in sight. The articulated bus just left and no one let us know it was leaving. It’s a bus shell game and losing.

Birb patrol.

A woman parked on Guilford near my open window has her car door open & is dancing in the street before she goes to work at the hospital. Baltimore is the best. May she have an excellent day.

That citation looks complicated, want me to delete it for you?

Cat v. Air Conditioner take one.

Red Ramen and I might just keep that.

Never mind the homework Here’s the Cat

Well, fuck.

The purity of the Duchess’s blissful sleep is overwhelming.

Greetings from the fuzzy purring sewists’ block.

Hate it. Sticking with my 2010 Outback. I’ve owned Subies since 1996 and … no. If I WANTED an SUV I’d fucking buy one. I WANT a wagon.

Friend came to visit and the bus ride back to Penn was pure B’more. Cash box not working, she rode free. 2 older gents discussing working at BWI & minimum wage. “Just keep going what you gotta do.” “You know me I’m Party Martin.” 100% B’more. 12/10 would recommend.

Just wrote the new first para of my thesis intro in the notes app on my phone outside the liquor store and frankly, it’s a bit on brand. Now drinking an amaro flavored like 18th century toothpowder. Baltimore made, with a splash of soda from my grandma’s siphon. Behold: I am stereotype.

Trying hard to get the progeny there… hard to find a supervisor on short notice even with the special extra open week at UBC. Beating back anxiety but it’s hard. There’s a spot here but UBC is closer to what he wants (course work, research AND animals)

I swear there’s accordion music on Guilford today and now I really need a croissant and an excellent coffee or some cheese and wine.

Omar Bradley is under appreciated. As a public historian who started in the field in MO, I did work that touched on Lee, Grant & Bradley. Only two of them are worth celebrating and neither lost a war & a house in Arlington, Va.

Writer’s block engaged.

This is the third NJ higher ed institution I’ve read about today (w/Rutgers & Princeton). Must be something in the water. (Is it fluoride? It’s fluoride, isn’t it?)

This, but national. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex05...

Wake up babe, new tariff just dropped on the Land of Oz. So mad I'm laughing and coughing. Not enough swears for this day.

10% on Svalbard. Which, last I checked, is already part of a country called... Norway? The stupid is overwhelming.

I dig historical reenactment but like nobody asked for 19 fucking 30.

It’s not a question of left or right, it’s a question of right or wrong.
