Here's hoping that a lot of prominent critics of Apricot Pol Pot have made plans for when the regime (either officially or via agitated supporters) tries to come for them. The way things are going, that day is approaching fast.

Whatever it is that the russians have promised Trump for this... I hope they screw him when he tries to collect. Just so that he gets to have that little bit of karma and know what it felt like when he was the one doing it. Even if it is only for the duration of a very fast downward trip.

I wonder... In 50 years (assuming there is going to be anyone here to do so), will historians look at 2019 and say "yep, there it was, the last peak of western European society. It was all downhill from there onwards."

A lot of voices in the media are saying Trump is all talk, that he'll never actually do the crazy stuff he's saying. Meanwhile, I think he'll have Biden arrested at inauguration and pull US troops from Europe on Day 1 to make things easier for Putin. Which one of us is wrong?
