Freshly completed Thassa's Oracle, hand painted after Howard Pyle's 1910 work 'The Mermaid'. The painting was Pyle's last - he died in 1911. Coincidentally this will be my last alter for a bit. I'll be taking some leave for at least the next few months.

Mosaic Birds of Paradise, painted referencing Mark Poole and Marcelo Vignali's illustrations for the card. The idea for this piece came from viewing Roman mosaics at the Getty Villa in LA. The museum is due to reopen next month after surviving last year's Palisades Fire.
