LIFER!! During our vacation, I met two very tame red-necked phalaropes while birding late in the evening (cheers to 22-hour daylight) at Lake Mývatn in northern Iceland. They waited patiently as I got to my tummy for some photos. This lake is renowned for birdlife, and it did not disappoint! #birds
