Oh what’s that? You’re watching Gundam and they’re your favourite character? Heh heh heh… Yeah… Good luck… Heh heh heh… Oh? Oh it’s nothing… I was just giggling to myself cause I remembered something funny… It’s just… Heh heh heh… Yeah… Have fun kiddo… Heh heh heh…

For the record: Tomino had already depicted a tragic tanned female character in Umi No Triton (1972). The Lalah thing could’ve just been an example of him not want to repeat himself.

I know some of you Gundam fans aren’t particularly bright, but (unless other material comes up) I have a feeling Yu Yamamoto wanting Lalah to be indian was not out of altruistic/representational reasons

Plot Twist: Quinton Reviews makes a 10 hour long video essay about Robotech and single-handedly generates GenZ interest in Robotech causing Harmony Gold to triple down on merchandising now that they have a new audience to exploit.

Australia should get its name changed sooner rather than later so next time the white nationalist parties will have to try a little bit harder when coming up with their slogans instead of basing their entire personality around Trump.

Fascist Anime Fan who loves mecha because they can project themselves onto fictional fascist societies when their own real world government isnt fascist enough for them VS Fascist Anime Fan who hates mecha because they find humanoid fighting machines a perversion of traditional military ideals

People say Star Wars had a big influence on Tomino and they’re not wrong, however I like most Tomino works way more than Star Wars so Star Wars gets the gtfo treatment as far as I’m concerned.
