They WANT you to feel overwhelmed. They want you to feel hopeless. They want you focused on whatever stupid thing/s they did this week. If you feel helpless, you are MUCH easier to control. One of the BEST things you can do right now is give yourself permission to believe this won't last forever.

I have to say, writing a musical/novel hybrid has probably been the highlight of my learning of this craft, but if anyone else wants to try it, I'd recommend focusing on the songs first since they can slow down the process a lot without some pre-planning
