Very interesting proposal to add wasm *input* support to LLVM: discourse.llvm.org/t/rfc-mlir-d... Wasm *output* support of course already exists, the LLVM wasm backend. Adding input support could allow wasm toolchains that do not use LLVM to still benefit from its optimizations, perhaps by a lot!
